You’re right! I used to work for the 40 Hour Famine once upon a time, and decided to get on board and do something a couple of years ago. I seriously think that the best thing to do is get people focussed on finding sponsors - events are fun, but some take heaps of work and don’t raise much - so I always think it’s good to focus on the basics, and then add on extra stuff when you’ve got the basic part done. Where abouts are you based? There’ll always be a World Vision rep who can help with advice.
Also - I think that the reason my fundraiser worked really well was because it was something quite different - people got into it because it was fresh, and because I was actually doing something quite challenging. People don’t seem to keen to donate if people aren’t really giving anything up.
I hope that helps a little bit. Good luck!

Hi Matt
It’s called Gelato Script.
And I had to buy it when I saw it in a very dangerous MyFonts EDM.
